These cables easily hook into a USB port on a computer and enable a user to take work home from the office with greater ease. Some of these data cables also allow the computer to charge the cell phone so that there is no power loss during an important download. There are also memory cards available to store extra data that a person may want to transport.  These cards have the ability to remain in place and hold any previously stored information while the user is utilizing data cables.

There are many cell phone accessories that can give a cell phone a new and refreshed look while also providing protection to the device itself. Face plates are available in many styles and colors and serve to shield the phone from damage if it is accidently dropped and also help to deflect any dust particles that may be common in certain work situations. While some styles of face plates are plastic and just snap-on, other brands are silicon and screw into place to offer better protection.

Carrying cases are another cell phone accessory that is popular. These cases hook right to the user’s belt and helps eliminate accidental dialing from a cell phone sliding around inside a purse or a pant’s pocket. These cases also allow easy access when answering a call. Many are made of leather, while others are available in rubberized material to shield them from water in a marine setting.
